is34 Swim Team

Client: is34 School in Staten Island, NY

I’ve collaborated with IS34 on several school events, including custom swag for their swim team. For this project, the client requested a “faded look” for the text. Instead of relying on gradients—which aren’t ideal for screen printing—I took a more creative, print-friendly approach by incorporating fish-scale elements to suggest a subtle texture. I used the Compound Shape tool in Illustrator’s Pathfinder panel to achieve the effect while keeping the design clean and production-ready. Once the design was finalized, I ensured all PMS colors were correctly assigned and prepared a detailed mockup for screen printing.
